wonderful Blondie

I’ve also decided to make some bath salts and bath bombs, along with some sugar scrub. The sugar scrub seems really easy to make, but bath bomb wise, how long do they last and are they actually as easy as Pinterest says? I’ve ordered all the gear, but it remains to be seen if I’m just left with crumbly messes everywhere!
I mean Pinterest makes us all feel like we’re the most crafty people ever, with all these amazing ideas – I have thousands and thousands of things I want to make because it looks awesome on Pinterest…
I’m fairly sure half the things I want to make because they’re “so easy” are actually far from it and I’d end up with a mess.
I’ll stick with the fantasy, I have all these things on my boards which make me look like I have some dreamland house with homemade things everywhere…
To be honest, I’m just looking forward to experimenting with citric acid and baking soda.
Anyway, enough about Christmas, I’d love to hear your experiences with homemade gifts, but now, let’s talk food.
These have quickly become my favourite Blondies.
Normally, I make Blondies the same way as I make Brownies, mixing melted chocolate and butter together before whisking with some flour, eggs and sugar.
However, these are just made with melted butter…
I don’t want to be disloyal to the wonderful Blondie and they still have all the chewiness of one made with white chocolate, but since I was adding in dark chocolate and mint, I didn’t want them to become overly sweet with white chocolate as well.
Like most things in the kitchen, it’s an experiment. And it just so happens, that these turned out to be mind blowing.
